Puzzle and Learn

Webquest Evaluating
Hi my dear followers! This week I came to you with a differen project: evaluating a webquest...

Overall Visual Appeal: I did not it because it is not attractive att all. It is not appropriate in that age group. But lay out is not bad. So I gave 2 out of 4.
Navigation & Flow: It is very simple and easy to follow. You are clearly directed so I gave 4 out of 4.
Mechanical Aspects: There is one link but images are sufficient so I gave 1 out of 2.
Motivational Effectiveness of Introduction: The introduction is awful. It has nothing to do with introduction. It injects no motivation for topic.There is always information. So I gave 0 out of 2.
Cognitive Effectiveness of the Introduction: The introduction doesn't prepare the reader for what is to come. It just information about the topic. So I gave 0 out of 2.
Connection of Task to Standards: The task is not related to standards. It is too much to be followed. So ı gave0 out of 4.
Cognitive Level of the Task: Task requires simply comprehending or retelling of information found on web pages and answering factual questions. It also too much above to age limit that it aims. So I gave 0 out of 6.
Clarity of Process: Some directions and references are given, but there are a lot of information. Students might be confused. So I gave 2 out of 4.
Scaffolding of Process:Some of the activities do not relate specifically to the accomplishment of the task. And also there are no tools for to make it easy. So I gave 3out of 6.
Richness of Process: Few steps, no separate roles assigned. It is really insufficient role so I gave 1 out of 2.
Relevance & Quantity of Resources: Resources provided are not sufficient for students to accomplish the task. They are ordinary recources. Google has more benefit. So I gave 0 out of 4.
Quality of Resources: The recources useful but ordinary. They should have givem more specific resources so I gave 2 out of 4.
Clarity of Evaluation Criteria:Criteria for success are clearly stated. Criteria include qualitative as well as quantitative descriptors.

Something new: Wiki
Our last duty was to create a commet about a book. I think it was going to be just something to write. But while working on my project I also remember that I forgot reading Agatha series. So I started reading again.
I also realized that wiki was a perfect way to comment. Commenting something you know helps you improve your language skills. Furthermore wikis are not just for reading and for homework. On the contrary they have everythin you need. For example wikihow was a perfect tool to learn cook...

Listen,giggle and learn English
While creating this podcast with my friend Kadyr Akyyev we had a lot of fun. At first we thought that it was going to be hard. But it turned out to be amusing. We made a lot of pronunciation mistakes but even they were great! We repeated and recorded again and again.
It it is the first time we have ever made something like that. So maye be it is amateurish but I hope it will be beneficial for somebody.
This work make me understand the role of podcast. It is an effective teaching technique especially nowadays...
